Free and Confidential Law Firm Assessments for D.C. Bar Members
A law firm assessment starts with you completing a detailed and comprehensive questionnaire. The questions help us assess how you are managing your firm and to identify areas in need of improvement. You may start your assessment now, or request the assessment form from our practice management advisors: Kaitlin McGee / kmcgee@dcbar.org / 202-780-2764 or Dan Mills / dmills@dcbar.org / 202-780-2762.
Upon completing the questionnaire, you may contact us to set up an appointment to meet one-on-one or to request an on-site assessment at your law firm. During the meeting we will review your responses and discuss various strategies for improving in the areas where we find weaknesses. An on-site assessment provides the advisors with an in-depth perspective of your problem areas and the day-to day management of your firm. It includes an interview of all managing lawyers and staff and review of your files and our internal processes. This is the best way to help you develop a plan for improvement.
